How about playing that live August 5th game in San Jose?

Play ball! Then talk about it. Or vice versa.

Hey, I'm not opposed to that in particular, although I am going to be out of town that weekend, so I don't see myself taking the lead on that, especially if it's played in San Jose. It was fun last time, for sure.

Ahhh...if only the weather were so predictable.

Scott,

Can you provide the distribution list so I can take the lead on this? This is a great way to spice things up a bit and enjoy a mini summer getaway.

B. K.,

I'll need directions and stuff.

Thanks,

Dan R.

Damn, I do hate to miss this. Last time I had a big 2B and was involved in several assists/outs while on defense.

Yeah, Dan, I can hook you up with my intellectual property. I'm leaving town tomorrow 6:00 AM so I'm trying to get lots of shit dealt with before leaving. Do you think it would be ok to deal with this when I come back, which would be a week from today (July 31st)?

Everyone note that the live game has been switched to August 12th (the following week). This Sunday will be a regular game at Curt Flood, HOWEVER it will be starting 1 hour later, so warmups are at 11:00 AM, game at 12:00.

As for the location of the live game on 8/12, I think the rotation calls for it to be in Oakland. Hey San Jose, don't worry, we won't make you play us in the ghetto like the first time we played. We should play in our real home park (Curt Flood). I'm talking about 8/12 of course.

Now, Kenneth, that's no way to speak to the future father of your half-brother.

Because I'm screwing your Mom, get it? See what I did there?

All mouth and no trousers as usual, Ken. See you on Sunday, biznatch.

The ghetto is one thing... the size and quality of the field is another. I'll check with my folks if we can mobilize.

Ok. We have our 10+ that we can bring up there on the 12th. Some people have reminded me to politely request that you have a mound, and a mound that is at 62.5 feet. If you all have a good field to play on, we'll be there. We still haven't figured out an exact time, but it will be around 1 or 2.

I believe our mound is the MLB regulation 60.5 feet but if San Jose pitchers enjoy hurling from two feet further I have no problem with that.

See you on the 12.

OK. I've talked to everyone. 1:05 start on August 12th @ Curt Flood.

See you all there.
