I'm pretty disinclined because we're only on pace for 15 games for the current season, and that's assuming nothing is rained out and turnout is stable enough all season. I'll think about it some more, but I think it's more likely after June 1 unless some double headers can happen.

hey scott, i know you just addressed this issue a few weeks ago, but i thinking that it would be nice for those of us going to SQ to have a warm-up game next week.

Maybe if there were a way to do it without disrupting our normal play?

Maybe we could have a 6 inning game... and start it at 10? So we could have plenty of time to start a regular game at 12:30 or 1ish? Just a thought. The main thing is that it would be really nice for those of us heading out there to face/throw some live pitching and get back into the swing of that type of competition :)

When is SQ scheduled to take place? Maybe the participants could meet for BP beforehand.

I was thinking about doing this even before reading this post. This Sunday will be a live game, so come prepared!

Read the normal Thursday/Friday email as usual for details. Thanks for reminding me about this idea Ken.

I think the date was June 2nd, but I haven't heard any more details than that.

Thanks Scott! I'm pumped about this sunday!

Yeah, I wish I was going to be in town June 2nd. I'll be in Philadelphia seeing the Giants take on the Phillies (college 10 year reunion). I'm excited about that (Diamond Club seats below face value on ebay), but I also recall having a surprisingly good live game when we were in San Jose last Fall.

Hey, heads up, stats are back up: http://www.geocities.com/dparkbaseball/career.html

As are box scores of course:

Here's the boxscore from that 11/19/06 Oakland @ San Jose game:
