Play ball! Then talk about it. Or vice versa.

OPB Team wanna play a road game at the Q? (San Quentin)

Post by mp1045 »

Hey guys-
The coordinator for San Quentin baseball (VISITORS Teams) contacted me.
Let's form a good team of 12 or so and go (I may be able to recruit Howie, great pitcher/hitter from the SFNABA A's the last 2 years.
I have played there --it was a trip and a lot of fun. The cons have some good players and they have a good time. :?: :!:

It would be on a SATURDAY MORNING Arrive there at 7:30am or Wed night.arrive @4:30pm it takes awhile to get in but you do get out quickly if you're good!.

I will call for some available dates and maybe this Sunday's live game would be a good time to recruit.
I wpould need to get the following info:
Name on drivers license
DL #
SS #
Date of Birth

Leftys with power will
win games there. Short porch in right.

>they do a background check--basically no felonies or warrants, etc

Some are restin' in peace and some are sittin' in San Quentin
Others such as myself are tryin' to carry on tradition...

I could go on Saturday 3/3, but I'm out of town for the two subsequent Saturdays. Sounds like fun.
