This Sunday: Nicholl Field # 1
Hey, I know there are fans out there of Nicholl Field # 1 (as opposed to Nicholl Field # 2). So I figured I'd bring to your attention my intent to use Field # 1 this Sunday. Of course, if someone else is using the field, then we won't be able to. Another bad possibility would be if there's no home plate (this was the case a month ago). Anyway, since it's later in the year and shade isn't as necessary as it is earlier in the year, the plan is to use Nicholl Field # 1 (the one closer to MacDonald Ave.). Ok, that's the update, party on Garth.

Daylight savings
Hey people, don't forget today the clocks have gone back, so don't show up at 9:30 like a schmuck and have to wait around for an hour.

FYI: If you weren't there when this happened, time to let you know. We were kicked off of Nichol Field # 1. It's off-limits. They were pretty cool about it, but emphasized repeatedly that it's totally off-limits. They also pointed out that Nicholl Field # 2 is always available, and is first come-first serve. So when we play Nicholl, it's going to always be Field # 2 (you're welcome, lefties). And don't assume that it's available just because they told us it's ok even without permits---since they said it's first come-first serve, we'll still have to check the field status, even when playing Field # 2. So keep checking the website/phone hotline on Sunday mornings when Nicholl is scheduled.
