Anyone up for practice this week?

Play ball! Then talk about it. Or vice versa.

Anyone up for practice this week?

Post by Mr. Snrub »

Hey all,

I'm not working this week and would love to get out and do some BP, fielding, pitching, etc. in Oakland or Berkeley. If we get enough interest, maybe a game or a simulated game could break out. Anyone up for it?

This is probably a good idea for me to test out my back. I'm scheduled to work, however this tooth situation may prevent me from working, and thus make me available. We shall see.

Friday night would be ideal as my girl is going to a bachelorette outing but Thursday is doable as well.

So...Thursday or Friday? I'm down for either (or both), but Friday would be easier for me as well. Let's put both options on the table to see how many people we can get. Contact whomever you can by phone/email since not everyone pays close attention to this board.

I think he's talking about daytime, Richard, so I don't think kickball will conflict. Pwned, beotch!

The earlier we can begin practice, the better; it's getting dark earlier this time of year. I can start anytime on Friday. What's the earliest you guys can make it?

I have to play it completely by ear due to my health situation. I have to make a last-minute call in terms of the decision. I'm doped up on vicodin, for instance. And, sorry Paul for the pwned usage.... I had to slip it in there since Richard had directed one my direction in another thread.

Yeah, I don't think "pwned" is capitalized, even at the beginning of a sentence.

(Also, Mr. Snrub -- so... awesome....)

PRACTICE TOMORROW

Post by Mr. Snrub »

Richard, (and Scott if you're game) why don't we meet at Willard Park at 4. Whoever else plans to come, please post the time you'll be able to make it. Willard park is located in Berkeley at Telegraph and Derby, across from Andronico's. In the unlikely event that the field is in use, I'll scout out a new location and post it on the site. My cell is 443 472 3067.
