Tuesday (7/18) night practice w/ live style BP

Post by TheLegend »

Daniel T. and I are planning on getting together Tuesday night starting at 5:30 at Willard Park (on Telegraph across the street from Andronico's Market) in Berkeley for some prep for this Sunday's live game. I'll be available to throw ~75 pitches to anyone who wants to face some live pitching and will be more than happy to catch for anyone else who wants to pitch. Obviously there will be BP and fielding practice (in the form of shagging balls) as well.

We'll probably be out there until 8 (or until the sun gives out) and would be more than happy to have any of you join us.

Respond to this thread (or PM me) if you think you'll be able to make it.

After my recently pathetic performance at the plate, I'm in dire need of some batting practice. I'm not sure where Andronico's is, so a cross-street name would help me out a lot. However, count me in, and I'll catch for Ken if nobody else wants to.
I intended to write something to remind everybody of my superior prowess.

The cross street is Derby. It's possible that the field will be in use, we'll have to see where things go from there if it is. Either way, if anyone shows up and we're not there, feel free to call me at (510)381-3063.

P.S: We might be there a little later than 5:30, but we'll be there by 6 for sure.

Pending what time I get out of work, I wil probably be there to pitch as well even if I won't be there this Sunday.

I wish I could participate, but I have to play my role as a cog in the capitalist system. Grrrrr!

Most people can't make it earlier, we had problems getting enough together before 6:30. Work and all that stuff.

I should be there, though if I'm still having issues with my (insert name of muscle which resides on the outside part of your armpit here), I may not participate.

My arm is still sore from the foul ball I took on Sunday, but if someone will be there in addition to Richard, then I can at least play the field.
