New Records On The Site

Post by retep »

Hey everyone! New records for strikeouts in a game/career, and consecutive games with a HR are all now posed. Check to see if you're up there, and if anything is wrong.

Code: Select all

Consecutive Games with HRs:
      6: Paul Cooper
      4: Carlos Escobar
      3: Kenyatte Davis

Strikeouts:
       6: Paul Cooper
       2: Dorrian Peters
       2: Adam

Paul seems like the stereotypical power hitter, no? :P
Rules:
1. I am always right.
2. If I am ever wrong, read rule number 1.

Brace Yourself

Get ready for when Paul begins to go the other way! He pulls most everything currently, but, unlike Josh, I think Paul will be able to go the other way (toward right field) more often soon. That will make him an even more dangerous hitter.

Somebody toss me an outside pitch and I'll give the RF'er a workout. Easy triples, baby!

I only go the opposite way by accident, like my 3B the other day. I though I hardly hit the ball, too!

Well, as I said before, one of the quintessential reasons I like baseball is the hitting of things very hard with the big stick, so I guess Dan is right. However, I realize that is a selfish attitude if maintained 100% of the time, so I do intend to work on my contact hitting, and direction-changing.
Thanks to Scott and Nick for their encouragement!
Man, a whole weekend without baseball is going to be depressing for me!

Neh, I'm just teasing you Paul, as long as you keep on whacking the homers, I don't think anyone will have too much a of problem with you striking out :)

Nick & Scott's pathetic multi-K games

Post by Baseball=Life »

Peter, don't forget to add Nick's 4 K game and my 3 K game to the Record Book section for Single Game records.

(As much as I hate to admit it.)

While we're at it, please make Rich's Triples/Game and Triples/MultiGame consistent.

You tha man!

And don't use PageBuilder! It's easier just to get into the raw HTML editor and change it by hand.
