You've got to be kidding me, Peter. Maybe you weren't talking about starting pitchers. Your other points about weaknesses of SD and LA are insightful, however.

Not at all. Cain my be rookie of the year in 2006, Lowery was pitcher of the month is Augus, and, aside from srping 2005, has been one of the most dominat lefty pitchers in the NL... adn he's getting better. This duo is lead by Jason and Matt Morris, who can be amoung the best in the MLB.

ok peter put the crack pipe down...

ok now then the giants have the 1-4 startersin the game??????????
morris is a bum whose best years are behind him
schmidt era last year was 4.40 thats not good enough for the giants as a matter of fact thats not that good at all
now then as for our rookie i dont have that much faith in him its 1 decent year

so yea its fun to dream that the could win the nl west but sooner or later you gotta wake up!!
So long, and thanks for all the fish. - Douglas Adams

Let me correct my self. I am no saying that these are the top for starters in the game: I am satying that they have possilby one of the best groups of 4 starters in the game.

As much as it pains me to ever root for the Giants, I'm tempted to pick up Cain in my keedper league (there aren't a lot of free agent pitchers left, but there are some like Pettite, Zito, Cain, Webb, and Cliff Lee that I might be interested in). I think Morris is lousy, Schmidt is still good and will make a comeback, and Lowry is quite good. But could I allow myself to root for the giants once every five days? I try to seperate fantasy baseball from being a fan of the a's and dodgers, but it's difficult to do But as a wise man once said: 2006 Dodgers, let's do this shit![/i]
