I'm just here to echo what paul said... except for me it's much sadder, because I've lived here my whole life. T_T

Hey, FYI, Nick got the lazzari briquets (the less toxic charcoal for grilling), so that's good. If people have "chimneys" they should bring them. Chimneys are the cylindrical metal devices that you put the briquets in (not sure why, not sure of the benefits)..... but those experienced grillers hopefully know what I'm talking about. So bring a "chimney" if you have one.

Yeah, we can pass stuff over the fence if need be. In case anyone doesn't realize, the hole in the fence off School Street has been patched. So your best bet for access is the Wilson Street entrance. I will state something on the website Sunday morning about what to expect in terms of having to climb a fence or not. So check the site around (or after) 9:20 AM for that info.

CURT FLOOD LOCKED, MUST USE DeFREMERY !!!!!!! GO TO DeFREMERY, IN BETWEEN 16TH AND 18TH, IN BETWEEN ADELINE AND MARKET. TAKE 580 TOWARD HAYWARD/STOCKTON, TAKE DOWNTOWN OAKLAND EXIT (HWY 980), EXIT AND GO RIGHT AT 18TH ST, TAKE 18TH PAST MARKET, FIELD ON LEFT. DO NOT PARK INSIDE THE GATES!!! SORRY EVERYONE, BUT ALL POSSIBLE GATES TO CURT FLOOD ARE LOCKED, THIS IS OUR ONLY CHOICE FOR TODAY.

Hey I just wanted to thank everyone for a wildly successful awards BBQ, even according to local hangers-on. Props* especially for those who helped grill, brought materials, showed up to play, and showed up to watch.... ok, I guess that means everyone!

* Someone help me, what is "props" an abbreviation for? Where did this term come from?

PROPS= short for propers. From a term proper respect made famous by Aretha Franklin in the song Respect where she says "...give me my propers..."

Ah, thanks for the breakdown....... hey, who's grill do I have? I grabbed everything at once and am not sure if it's Nick's or what, especially since I am pretty much grill-ignorant.
