So, it looks like we can have an umpire for that 2/19 live game. We need $35 to make this happen though. So I'm probably going to charge everyone $2 a piece to play in the 2/19 live game. So, start saving up your pennies now for your whopping $2 entry fee! Again, this is necessary because to have an umpire we must pay him. The other team will cover the other half of the ump cost (it's $70).
Ok, so either reply that you're ready to pay $2 or lay out some pathetic, impossible-to-believe excuse why you can't pay $2.

wait 35/2 equalls 17.5 or 18 people. scott dont you mean 4 bucks each as people who arent playing aint gonna wanna pay. cause i doubt no one will want to sit on the bench with the possiblity of playing. i know that some of our pitchers arms are gone after pitching. still i would find it hard to believe that we will go though more than 12 players. any ways i think i can come up with the 4 dollars.

Hey, you're correct Richard. I'm so used to thinking of 18 people, ie 2 teams, that I messed up. Yes, it will be more like $4 a person.
I think the turnout for Feb 19 will be very high, so I recommend really coming early that day.
