Field soggy?

Play ball! Then talk about it. Or vice versa.

Field soggy?

Post by TheLegend »

Has it even rained recently? I mean... I assume it has... and I just didn't notice... but it was so bad that none of the fields were playable? :?

And in an attempt to derail my own thread, I've been really really incredibly sick all week, so I a) really don't know whether or not it's rained and b) made no attempt to show up at CF today. Lucky me.

and in an attempt to furthur derail my own thread... what do you guys think about having an RSVP thread every week? I know not everybody who plays with us checks in on the forums, but I think enough of the regulars do that if such a thread existed it would make it a little easier to tell when we're not going to have a game, which would be a great help for me, cuz coming to baseball is (at least) a 2 hour travel commitment and if I could know that there's not going to be a game I can save myself the hassle of of biking / barting up to CF.

I don't know, I think those of us that check the forum often eough and actually would bother to post on such a thread, those guys generally show up every week anyway.

Hey, I've been doing some groundwork (talking to people, find out what's up, etc.) and I expect to quite likely see participation from people like Will, Pat, and Rich next week, or within a few games in Rich's case.

Hope to be there on 1/29...For what it's worth, what with the way that my very lame level of playing has been.
