OK, so tomorrow I plan to go to Bushrod, since they at least have a mound, it is likely to be available, and it is conveniently located for me. If anyone wants to face my pitching they are more than welcome to show up. I'll be there from around 6:15 to around 8:45. The light lasts until about 8. After then I'll be using the hit-away on a very convenient tether-ball pole I found there.
I could be persuaded to go elsewhere if there is a good reason.
PM me if you think you might show.

Well, I'm going to the BEAT LA game on Thursday, so I won't be doing any practice this week. Should get to cheer Barry and boo Jeff, though, which is arguably better.

I would have loved to make it to a Thursday practice, especially with it being my birthday. But, alas, I have work. I will be out of town.

This week I am thinking to go the batting cages at the Bladium in Alameda. If anyone wants to join me that's cool, let me know. You can call my cell: 510 205 2676. The Bladium is easy to get to from the Oakland-Alameda tube (the "Webster Tube"). There is a chance they will still be out for maintenance, so do call me and I can let you know. A
fall-back option is to go practice some pitching somewhere, probably Bushrod is the best bet for that.

Unless I have any additional info from my work, I will be able to make the next Thursday practice at Bushrod on the 6th. I think it's the best location as we're not going to be out there too late and therefore our arms will stay in better condition.

So I can make a practice tomorrow at Bushrod, I would get there around 6:15-6:30. We won't have light for very long, but hey, it's better than nothing. I would like to start breaking in my new catcher's glove, so if anyone wants to work on their pitching I'd be happy to just sit there and catch for them. I don't feel a need to pitch or hit right now. If there is no batter, then we can work longer into the evening, as you don't need quite as much light to catch a pitch as to hit it!
State here if you're planning to go, or call me, or I might just stay at home!

I'm sure he meant Thursday, since he wrote that last night, just past midnight. So even though he says "tomorrow", he means today Thursday 10/6

Actually Scott... he wrote that just past noon!

I'm not feeling well... or I would've made my way out there today

Well, it gets dark early now, so we couldn't really do anything much in the evening. Not unless you know somewhere that lights will be on. However, tomorrow will be an exception for me in that I am free in the morning. If you or anyone else is, I would be happy to be catcher for someone who wants to work a little on their pitching. I guess I could throw some too, if that is wanted. Any time from, say, 9, till around noon.
Give me a call if this works, or if you know an available place with lights, we can figure out something for the evening.

It's too bad, Paul. I'm actually able to practice also. However, I left my cell phone on a job site, so it's a little difficult to contact me. If anyone is still interested in practicing tonight (Ken?) then give me a call at 510-444-5588.
