May 22 Player(s) of the Game(s)
Well, in game one it's a close call between two newcomers.... Andrew tied the all-time record for doubles in a single game with 3, plus he scored 4 runs and had 3 RBI. But Jonah (his first game with us) may have beat him out by going 4/5 with 3 runs scored, a double, a triple, and 3 RBI. Ok, neither of these guys provided defense that was remarkable at all.... but realistically we all had a pretty weak day in terms of defense & errors, so I'm putting all weight on the offensive production.
As for game two, I have no problem nominating myself for player of the game. A perfect 4/4 with 3 runs and 2 RBI.

Well (obviously) it's the logo of the International League's (AAA) Durham (N.C.) Bulls, immortalized in the unforgettable 1988 movie "Bull Durham" featuring Kevin Costner, Susan Sarandon, and a young Tim Robbins as "Nuke LaLoosh." (I wonder if that's where the happy couple first met.)
Good choice, Peter!

clarification
So, in fact, we believe, nay, know, it is where they, in fact, met?
