April summary and stats

Post by Pat K »

April is a good month for baseball. I think all of you would agree, and we had a good one.

Strange stat: league average fell 21 points and slugging fell by 89 points. But runs per nine innings jumped by almost 7 runs per game!

League totals for the month of April 2005

5 games/ 45 innings/ 110 runs/ 22 runs per nine

494 at bats/ 205 hits/ 168 singles/ 30 doubles/ 6 triples/ 1 home run

.415 Avg/ .506 Slug/ .912 APS

League leaders for April 2005

Fuck yeah, I had such a better month in April than in March. I just have to remember not to swing for the fences at DeFremery, that's what crushed my offensive numbers in March.

And, check Ken out. Even with his 0/7 slump, he's still among the leaders offensively for April.

Pat, thanks again for coming up with this stuff, it's really really really appreciated!!!!!!!

Reminder: one day this stuff will be all at our fingertips, when Nick finishes the stat-sorting program (target release date: mid-summer).
