Rain out notices?

Post by Lincoln »

I enjoyed playing my first game with you guys last week and look forward to more...

I played last year in Eli's games at Willard Jr. High in Berkeley, but we quit playing because of field schedule conflict and a low turn out trend.

I couldn't find this on the FAQ section: Is there a protocol for calling off the game because of rain? And, how would one find out (e.g., a forum post by Scott)?

Rain Outs......

Post by Baseball=Life »

Hey Lincoln, thanks for participating.

Rain-Outs are indicated on the main website, parkbaseball.tk

I go and check the field Sunday morning, and then we get the site updated to show whether the field is playable by 10:15 AM.

We once had a difficulty updating the site, so I sent out an email to notify folks that morning. So check the site, and if it's not there, check your email.

When you say Eli, is this the Eli that played with games with us for a while?

Thanks for the reply and info.

Yes, Eli Kanat. I think he did play some games with the DeFremery gang.

Just to add.... the website should be updated between 10:25 and 10:30 am. If it doesn't work, I call scott to quickly send out an e-mail.
