1) Great view of the bay
2) Sun behind outfielders
3) Nice green hitting backdrop
4) No holes in batter's box
5) Well-manicured grass infield
6) HRs are feasible
7) Quality infield dirt
8) Hard to lose baseballs
9) Right next to the freeway
10) Good mound/rubber

I think the jury's still out on the infield grass. I haven't seen Matt Cisco interact with ground balls like that before, plus you hit one at me that took a nasty hop.

As for your other point, that is absolutely correct.

Well, this juror loves the grass at Caldecott. Remember that not all bad hops are caused by terrain. A lot of them are caused by bad positioning and approach/attack of the infielder to the batted ball.

As for the other point, I completely agree with Mr. Leathers.

i think second best with the el cerrito vista being better

1 no fence
2 easier to get for non car people
3 bigger field

oh and just as a side note hitting homeruns at caldecott is going to loose balls
