Play ball! Then talk about it. Or vice versa.

I personally like the idea of IBBs, and I do agree that they need limitations. I find the 40-37 games enjoyable, but when you're up by 1, and Carlos comes up to the plate in the bottom of the 9th, I sure as hell feel better not having him bat (this would apply to probly any other power hitter as well).

The one limitation I could think of is having either a maximum or minimum run lead where you could IBB someone.
Rules:
1. I am always right.
2. If I am ever wrong, read rule number 1.

I don't know if the run limit is needed. If a team wants to use its one IBB, while up by 7, that's thire problem, no?

No IBB's at DeFremery

Though it was a relatively close vote, it looks like we'll hold off on Intentional Walks at DeFremery Park.

This issue can of course be readdressed and voted upon again if discussion at games (especially with non-Forum members) warrants it.

Note: As DeFremery Park Commish, I'm down to let everyone participate in decision-making (like with the bunts, IBBs, game frequency issues), but I should point out that there could come a time or an issue where effective administration precludes participation from everyone else.
