Any Interest for Daytime Practice or Games??

Play ball! Then talk about it. Or vice versa.

If interested in practicing or playing during the day on weekdays.

I'd be interested in regular weekday daytime practices

Any Interest for Daytime Practice or Games??

Post by Rob C »

I was just over at the Bladium with Scott taking some batting practice and it occurred to me that we probably aren't the only ones that work nights and are usually off during the week in the day time, and it might be fun to have a regular practice, or better yet, maybe try to get a regular game going like on Sundays. For example, for me Tuesday late mornings would be perfect.

So--is there anyone else interested?

Yeah, sounds good

I'd be down for that, you can't get too much baseball!

The fields would definitely be open during the daytime on weekdays, too.

I work evening hours like 5-9 pm, so I can do it for sure. I wonder how many others have that time free?

This might be a situation where a Craigslist posting is relevant.

i didn't read all the options before voting

I'm the schmuck who voted for regular games, but regular or even occational practices would be cool too.

NO! Curse you, I work 8-4 M-F, like a normal person, so I would only be able to come if I took the day off.

That said, whilst I wouldn't take the day off for a practice, I totally would for an extra game!

So I'll vote for for the occasional game option, emphasis on occasional.

Possibly on same days I could participate, but between school and work, not much free time :(

Hey Ken, I may have Friday off during the day at night I might go see a movie, so if you want let me know i'd be up for some hitting and catching, practicing. Maybe we could go to DeFreemery? That way I can get there easier or if you could pick me up i'd appreciate either!

Playing this Friday

Post by Baseball=Life »

Let's try to set up a weekday day game not this week but next week.

Then we can get a good turnout.

I can do ANY day next week, prior to 5:00 pm.

People responding to this post should specify what weekdays next week they CAN'T play.

We'll pick the day most can turn out, then post it on CraigsList and get more folks.

The sooner we put that post up, the better turnout we'll get.

So...... EVERYONE RESPOND TO THIS POST ABOUT A WEEKDAY GAME NEXT WEEK !!

PS: of course, the Sunday game will still be on as usual.
