I actually agree. Other ideas? I don't know the area as well.
There is that one park on Sacramento near North Berkeley BART.

There should be some in Alameda that are available. I'm not sure where, but I can check if you guys are willing to come out here. We have like 8-10 fields on the island alone.

There is no way I am going to be able to stop at home to get my gear then make it out to Almeda by 6 (any later, and we loose sunlight)
(But thanks, Victor!)
Other ideas?

All the fields I know of are softball fields.
I intended to write something to remind everybody of my superior prowess.

I mean, a softball field is fine, right? We're just hitting grounder's/flyballs and some BP? In a way, softball fields are good for practice because of the shorter reaction time!
I propose the field in Ohlone Park at Sacramento and Delaware, right across the street from North Berkeley Bart and near the University Ave freeway exit (for those coming from the south.
Let's do this!
Nick-- are there any people who you plan on bringing?

I will count you in!
Does someone has Lino's number? He planned on coming, but he's expecting Bushrod.

while i cant make it to any practices, i would imagine that ohlone is far to small. me and daniel used to practice there and then i hit a ball over sacramento. i would think grove park or willard would be the 2 best ideas, grove is on mlk and russel which is 1 block from ashby bar. and willard is on derby and regent (near telegragh).
but again i dont really care as i can never make it

I think when we had it going a while back, Willard was never a problem
edit: and willard is actually a baseball field.
and i agree that ohlone is ridiculously undersized.
