Goat of the Game 2/13/05

Play ball! Then talk about it. Or vice versa.

Goat of the Game 2/13/05

Post by Baseball=Life »

I've got to nominate myself as Goat of the Game.

If my grand slam in the 3rd counted, it would have been the game-tying, and even the game-winning run. (3 runners on base, 2 scored eventually anyways, we lost by 1 run.)

What kind of numbskull am I to not be able to follow a simple list?!? That REALLY cost us the game.

On that note, I'm going to try to hook up a few dry erase boards that we can post lineups on and hang on the chainlink fence in the dugout.

I can't fucking believe I did that!!!!

PS: Nick does deserve a nomination for having an 0/5 day in the clean-up spot in the order. For shame.

I'm gonna take you off the hook here Scott. There was mass confusion at the time. I on the other hand let an easy pop to first pop out (fairly new glove) to extend an inning. Then while "coaching" third, I sent Daniel around when I should of held him up; costing that all important 1 run and the third out. So I may be responsible for at least 2 runs there.

No, I think Scott's right. I do deserve it.

"the 1/13 game"

Post by Baseball=Life »

uh, oh yeah Kenyatte, that was the one game you missed... I went 8/8 that day with 3 HRs. I hit for the cycle as well, and made 5 web-gems in the field.

You really missed quite a game.

Ok, ok, ok, ok, in the fervor of trying to get rid of the feelings I had for batting out of order, I went temporarily insane and labelled this post "Goat of the Game 1/13/05". I'm surprised I didn't put 2004. Anyway, it's edited to be correct now, beotch!

I also completely misjudged a fly ball at 2nd and let it drop 2 feet behind me. Had that inning (I don't remember which one) ended earlier, we would have at least been tied after 9 innings. ah well.

All I have to say is that I'm hitting .100 over 2 games.
