Oakland Park Baseball

Tomorrow, Fri.the10th, there's a party at my house with five bands, and probably a keg. Starts around 8. Defremery Leaguers welcome. I live at 5425 Shattuck Ave. in North Oakland, between the cross streets of 54th and 55th. There's a huge palm tree out front. Should be fun. Send me a message if you need more details.

Another guy at my house plannned the bands, so I only know 4 of the five. there's my band, and we play mainly covers and a few originals- rock, punk, oldies. i can't tell you the covers, or I'd have to kill you, but we play some classics. Should go on until about 1. There's a band called Holy ghost revival. they're hard rock, with a sort of sea chantey influence (it's damn hard to categorize. There's another group called the Ovens, who sound a little like black sabbath. there's a band called shakey bones, playing acoustic country in the woody guthrie style. And there's another band I don't know about. It'll be a good time. Hope this is helpful, it's hard to categorize. and how the hell do you spell categorize? it looks weird.

Damn! Wish I had read this forum earlier. Sounded like fun. And I want to see your band, Chris. Well...definately keep us posted in the future.
