Rule Clarification

Post by Southpaw Slim »

-Any thrown baseball that passes the imaginary line that extends from the fences at the back of the dugout will award all baseruners one base.
-Any hit baseball that passes the imaginary line that extends from the fences at the back of the dugout can be fielded as any other foul ball.
I intended to write something to remind everybody of my superior prowess.

If i recall correctly, one reason for this was that there is an impossible throw from behind that imaginary line to home plate. Third base can also be a difficult target from there, because of the fence.

Yes, this is different than the MLB rules, but because the MLB would never face an issue like a fence of this sort.
