Man on Third
Mere Single Ties It up
Choking in the 9th

(that last one was dedicated to myself after having choked with the tying run on 3rd, and lead run on 2nd yesterday. I flew out to CF, when all that was needed was even an infield single.)

- Jason Gohlke

I've always thought 5-7-5 was an immutable rule.

And here I wanted to play this week. I'm awake on time and everything. Ah well.

Paul, what's going on with Oregon?

Nice posts, Paul, but do any of those actually conform to the requirements of a haiku?

Sigh. Didn't I already go over this?

All of them do, since the only real requirement is three short lines. The number of syllables thing is not considered to be a real rule in Haiku written in English, only those in Japanese.

With that extra freedom in mind, perhaps you'd like to post some of your own compositions, Nick?
