PARK BASEBALL SOUTH?
I don't know if anyone knows folks in L.A., but as long as I'm at UCLA, does having a southern extension of Oakland Park Baseball sound feasible? Baseball is a big thing in SoCal, and there's plenty of parks and sunny days. I see those LA fans like Lino and Juan. Is this doable? Hell, if its far south enough we could include Richard.

Man I'm so pissed off. I just went through a million old emails but I can't find it. A guy from LA area contacted me because of a Craigslist post I put up. He wanted me to try to break down for him how to make a league happen. I wish I could find it and forward it. Fuck.
I remember when Paul tried to do this in the Portland area.
The key is continuity. Even if you don't have adequate turnout, you have to keep trying every week so you can begin to amass a core group. It will always require sporadic and new participants, but the core has to exist for any chance of games.
