Possible Challenge Game

Post by brownhornitt »

Hey. I'm from San Jose and came up for a game a long time ago. I was wondering if you guys wanted to play against our squad. We could probably gather folks for the October 1st game around 1:00. How does that sound?

Oh, and we throw live topping out around 70 mph.

Peter how about you let us know if you'd be up for the challenge instead of ragging on Richard? I'd want you on our team so I'm hoping you're down.

If I make the cut, count me in, unless it conflicts with the one game of vintage baseball left (on Sep 24th).

The challenger requested Oct. 1. We would probably have to relocate to Curt Flood because we are scheduled for Nicholls. Maybe that nice field in El Cerrito?

Your thoughts.

Make the cut??? Like the Big Brit Basher would ever be left out.

We should never plan to play that field in El Cerrito, it should be an emergency backup only. It is so well maintained, our use of it cannot go unnoticed.
I guess we don't want Nicholl because it has no mound, right? Curt Flood seems fine to me, we do have some issues with actually getting in, but the field itself is fine, surely?

Maybe, maybe. I am sitting at home with my wrist wrapped up with a sprain, so we'll see.

I'm definitely down to play. Will be fun if its anything like the last challenger.

I realize I'm low on the list of starters but I'd definately be into it if needed.
