The Trench

Post by Dave L »

The one in RF at Curt Flood. What say we remove it? Any chain gang volunteers? I'll bring some shovels and I think I have a pick axe. Sometime next week?

Yeah, I'm down to help get rid of the trench. I tried to do it a few weeks ago, but it's definitely a multiple person job.

Peter, come to a game if you want to know.

BTW: Jason, how do these guys get Hammerin' Hank status with less than 755 posts? What is the basis for this insanity?!

It's because they have more than Ruth or Bonds, and Hank is the only one who does. Make sense?

You all give some $$$ to the campaign I'm working on, and I'll have the time!

Well, so far it's me and Scott. Anybody else? What's a good day/time? I'm open all day Thursday but can make other days at some specific times.

Is that school active during school hours?

The park is technically seperate from the school. But I imagine that the kids may play on it. I would be open for Friday before 4.

Thanks AntMo. I can do Friday before noon and I'm open today (thurs). I realize it's a difficult thing to coordinate on. And not a pleasant chore to begin with. Maybe a few of us can try to get to the game Sunday an hour early and chip away at the thing.

Hey guys, my schedule is a bit unpredictable tomorrow (Fri). I have to go meet my friend to run an important errand in SF in the morning... estimated return to East Bay is in the early afternoon. Then I need to hit the road to go camping at like 3:00.

So, I'll try to find you guys at the Trench starting at like 1 or 1:30. I definitely want to put in some time on this.

Also, since I'll be coming back from camping, it will be very difficult for me to come early on Sunday to do it.

Let's postpone this till next week. Anthony has to work. I, as it turns out don't have much time to spend on it today (Friday). Hopefully we'll get to it before someone breaks an ankle...

Ok, good call Dave. Yeah, it may require more than 3 people anyway! Cool, next week I should have way more time to work on the Trench.

Just be extra careful this Sunday!

THE TRENCH IS GONE!

Now we just have to pick all the sharp objects out of the filler material.
