Am I the only one who misses just showing up each weekend and playing?

Misguided post. That's what we have done, are doing, and will continue to do: show up and play each week. Greater detail about the league is available to those who seek it (ie read forumns, etc.); to others it's just a show-up-and-play arrangement, just like you're describing.

Yeah, we've always had discussions and arguments.... this is just a more organized way to do it (and a way to allow our weekend baseball game to creep into our otherwise bland and lifeless work week).

(I'm kidding about the last part.)
