Rules:
The games in Oakland Park Baseball use different rules than those rules used by MLB.
Arriving Late To Games
- Games are to start at 11:00 P.M., with pre-game warm-ups starting at 10:30 A.M.

- Players who arrive after 11:00 P.M. might not receive a spot on a team's roster. Rosters will be capped at 10 players!

- Players who arrive after 11:00 P.M. and are placed on a team lose preference over their choice of defensive position.
should be: 11:00 A.M.
- A player who will be arriving late may call (510) 681-4373 to check if there will be space on a roster. However, should no one answer the call, the player is still responsible for arriving on time.
The second sentence doesn't make any sense.
- A batter can only strike out on three missed swings.
should be: a swing-and-miss with two strikes, ball bunted foul with two strikes or a foul tip caught by the catcher.
- A runner on third-base is out if he runs home on a cleanly fielded ground ball that gets the batter out. The run will not count, and the batter remains on first base. This rule is only in effect when the defensive team has no catcher. Another exception is if the bases are loaded, or if there are 2 outs already.
This rule is in fact in effect at all times... it just doesn't matter with two outs and with the bases loaded the runner doesn't have a choice not to run.
-Players that arrive after 11:00 P.M. are not guaranteed a spot on a team.
should be 11:00 A.M.
