Planning for the BBQ Next Week!

Post by retep »

Hey everyone! This is half RSVP time and half figuring out what people will bring.

Also: invite friends and family... we can try and make this an event (fun to have a crowd for once, no?)

I'll bring hot dogs and buns. we also need:

-A grill (or two)
-Charcoal
-Beer & soda
-Sides, like coleslaw and... I donno!
-Hamburgers and buns
-Whatever else!

So, what can you bring?

Well, I brought burgers and buns last time, I don't mind doing that again. I'll also bring cheese slices for the burgers. Last time I brought real cheddar slices, which were good, but I think we are all so accustomed to the use of "American" cheese ( or rather, American "cheese") that we would prefer it to the real stuff. Processed cheese product on your burger, sir?
I think we want two grills, or more if possible, but we managed OK with two last time. Who has one?

Fuck the processed shit. give us some real food! The Cheddar was fine. (I won't eat processes shit!)

By the way, I move to make Scott expemt from providing anything for the BBQ. He's done so much for all of us for the game, I say we keep this to an event he can chill about.

Hey, did I fuck up? Nick's saying we need more open space for grilling than Curt Flood can provide, unless we're on the field itself. Also, I wonder how many grills we can come up with? Nick has a small, nonelectric one, which I'll volunteer on his part since he checks the forum too infrequently.

Maybe too late now? But Its true that we may piss off Park and Rec. if we grill on the field.

Is playing at DeFem out of the quetsion? Is the another park near C.F.?

Antmo speaks the truth. So hopefully we can get enough grills available---if not, we'll of course have to relocate. So who's got the grills, what's up? I'll ask this in the email I plan to send out tomorrow.

As for what to bring, etc, Richard was talking about bringing a keg, and my non-drinking pussy ass will hook up some sody pop for da kiddies. But for real, Dr. Pepper will be had.

I can bring my camera, it's pretty good (although not as good as Dave's).

Hey I just got word that Pablo can bring a small "Smokey Joe" grill. So we've got 2 small grills thus far. Keep 'em coming.
