Post by Baseball=Life »

Hey, in like 15 minutes both of the boxscores will be up.

Thanks again to those who played and especially to those who helped keep score.

Now for player of the game nominations!!!!!!!!

Note: Career Stats will be updated when Peter can finish them (both this week's and last week's). Give him some time, that's a lot of data entry.

THANKS PETER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I just am counting my blessings that despite my terrible day at the plate, my team-mates picked up the slack to put me on the winning side for both games. It would have been a definite goat-of-the-game nomination for me if my strikeouts and pop-ups had lead to a loss.
A trip to the cage is in order, I think!

It was really good to play a full double header, I hope we can start at 11 again. I would still like to give defensive pitching a try, should we have sufficient turnout again. I think it might move the game along quicker, as having a catcher makes a bigger difference. Plus, we'd probably get more strikeouts, which would make me feel better (even though I would also be getting more of them, at least I wouldn't be alone!).
