Scott- How Does it Feel?

It's inevitable -- might as well make a forum for it. (Wait, is this supposed to be a family-friendly site?)

Scott- How Does it Feel?

Post by retep »

So, Scott, how does it feel to be overtaken in the batting leader board by the all-time strikeout king?[/i]

I'll be back

Post by Baseball=Life »

Even though I had a bad day at the plate, I did come through with the clutch double in the 9th, and my defense was superb all day. I threw out a runner at first from SS while on the ground. I threw out 2 runners at home plate from LF. I made the webgem catch sliding as I ran in from LF toward 3B. And those are just the things that come to mind.

You guys see why I should be in LF more often?!

I've had the flu pretty bad this week, I hope I'm able to play! Plus I got a major gash on my foot, that might be a problem too. You know I will play if at all possible, I've only missed one game in 2 + years, and that's because I was out of town.

So I expect to creep back in the batting average race, I'll quit trying to hit one out........ I think this all relates to the grandslam I hit at DeFremery on which I was called out for batting out of order. Until I hit another HR, that is haunting me. But, again, I will quit going for that, it's not really my game.
