Know what being a baseball fan means?

That's MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL. Talk amongst yourselves. Go to a game once in a while.

Know what being a baseball fan means?

Post by Baseball=Life »

It means loving the sport, not being a follower that only cares about one team. Who cares if the group of players on the field isn't from your hometown? Aren't they playing the same game you're supposed to love? I hate these people who think they're so big about baseball, but get all political and partisan when it comes to excitement about the sport. "Fuck the Yankees!" "Fuck the Giants!" blah blah. These are the same fools who stop watching the playoffs when their team is no longer contending.

Ok, that spazz having been thrown, I actually do appreciate anyone who buys a ticket to a baseball game, whatever their motive or cause. I'll take any support of the sport I can find.

I just don't understand when people buy into this political bullshit, when really it's about a great game.

I went down and saw Game 3 of the ALDS (Red Sox versus Angels), and I'm going to fly to Denver to see Game 4 of the NLCS (Rockies versus Diamondbacks). If it goes 7 games, I'll be at Game 7 in Phoenix. That's right, I put my money where my mouth is, even though I'm an A's season ticket holder! BASEBALL!

So who's down for the World Series? Game 3 is Saturday October 27th in either Denver or Phoenix. Both are drivable from Oakland. Enter the raffle to buy tickets at face value from the Diamondbacks website. If you win, let me know and I'll be good for a ticket. I can supply the car to drive down, and can probably even get us a place to stay Friday night in LA. So what's up? Who loves baseball?!?!?

Heck... You'd probably all "win". 16,000 seats left to fill tomorrows' game. It's a shame as these are two exciting teams to watch... with Arizona lead by OMG !!! Your Eric Byrnes... Who'd imagine him as the wiley "old" leader of the clubhouse ? Good luck to all !!

Well, with the D-backs down 0 games to 2 and headed on the road, it's definitely not looking good in terms of winning the rights to buy D-backs World Series games.

I don't care, though, because I just scored my Game 4 World Series tickets for Coors Field! Hell yeah! I'm broke because of it, but who cares?! It's the World Fuckin Series!

Whoops, read this too late. I just got back from Game 4 of the NLCS. I'm going for Game 4 of the World Series though, I think section 124 behind the Rockies dugout. Might try to go to Game 3 also.
