The idea that Miguel Tejada used the 'roids, as told by Jose Canseco..... SUCKS!!!

But unfortunately it's absolutely possible. Miggy went from small to huge, and is now the top SS in MLB since A-rod went to 3B.

I still love him though. And I think the effects of the 'roids on baseball are overrated.

Come on Jose is being an asshole...Miguel does not look like the type to take a short cut, he's big, but not steroid big...That's bullshit..Fuck Jose....

I find it sad that a player who works hard to become better from when they first broke in will now almost instantly be under scrutiny. Hard work does pay off sometimes ya know?

I would like to point out a few players:

Babe Ruth
Jimmie Foxx
Hemeron Kelibrew (i can't spell)
Mikey Mantle
Yogie Berra

Look though a book of old baseball players? There were many many large guys back then. And this was before they had such good trainin. Would these guys have been suspect as well?

Babe Ruth did not have a juiced body. I'm not completely sure about the other guys, but I seriously doubt that Ruth was on roids.

About Tejada, He didn't just get big- he went from tiny to huge. It's 100% possible he was using.

Same thing with Bret Boone. Not that I'm putting a whole lot of stock in what Canseco has to say, but these guys went from Bruce Banner to The Hulk in one off-season. It's hard to believe that they did it without a little help. Too bad we'll never know for sure.

I'm not saying the old timers were juiced. And I'm not saying that guys in the MLB aren't. I'm just saying, that there have always been big guys around, so the thoughts shouldn't be "They're big, so they must be juiced.

It's not how big they are that bothers me, some people are just naturally big. Unfortunately, Barry Bonds, Bret Boone and Miguel Tejada are not examples of those people. These guys blew up in a span of six months. You can't tell me that it's not at the very least, suspicious

For Bonds, it was really from 98' to 99' where his size grew... well before the HR binge.

The uspicious part for Bonds was how he was suddenly getting hurt.. he was never hurt much before, untill 98'.
