Would you A's fans agree with this assessment from Rotoworld.com:
Frank Thomas remained hitless in ALCS play after going 0-for-2 with a hit by pitch in Friday's loss.
Thomas' struggles, management's poor decision-making and bad defense have been the biggest problems for an A's team that is now down 3-0. Ken Macha is getting thoroughly outmanaged, something that was never more obvious than when Bobby Kielty, who should be starting against the Tigers' left-handers, was inserted into today's game at the same time that Kenny Rogers was removed. He instead faced right-hander Fernando Rodney and ground into an inning-ending double play in the eighth. Also, D'Angelo Jimenez's sloppy play at second base continued to hurt the club, though that didn't really matter when the A's failed to score even once. It looks like the team is going to go down quietly.
