Albert Belle

What ever happened to Albert Belle? I was just looking at his stats, and his last season was 141 Games, 23 HRs, 103 RBIs, and a .281 AGV.

Seems like a good year to me. Here are his total stats:

Bad hip means you can't get around on the ball any longer. He probabaly aggraveted it chasing kids away on Halloween. Now wanted by the Scottdale PD for stalking.

ah... albert belle. i was really excited when he signed with the o's. a lot of people can't stand the guy, but i love his... um... intensity. anyway, yeah, degenerative hip condition. i think he played two years of a five year deal. a lot of money got wasted there. was a real shame. the guy was on his way to some serious hall contention. probably wouldn't have made it, but he was playin' pretty damn well. probably the worst contract the o's have ever signed. (check out palmiero's five year stretch with the o's if you want to see the best. damn good five years.)
