ooh. bad opening day. so, is the plan to play horrible ball for the first month and a half, then shock the league by playing incredibly, only to fail in the end? god damn, you guys (a's fans) have a fun team. it's a lot better than the o's, who play wel early, then start to falter, then hit free fall. 2002 they ended the season 4-32. anyway, i just wanted to express my condolences for todays game. damn yankees.

Now that was a fuckin' beatdown!!!!

See you guys tonight and tommorrow night. I'll be there tonight with 2 other people but by myself tommorrow (13 rows back behind home plate for 35 bucks???? I am not in NY anymore). If anyone is at the game and I know a lot of you will be give me a call at 917-412-2929.

A-Rod is still a stat padder and loves to do this crap when it doesn't matter. Matusi is the real baller. You can't not like that guy. Silent but deadly.

Harden vs. Moose tonight??? I have a feeling i'm in for a long night of heckling. Mosse was barely hitting the high 80s all spring.

That Matsui homerun was monstrous.

More so than the A-Rod grand salami? On TV that one looked like an absolute bomb right off the bat.

with all the big names in that lineup, matsui's gotta be the guy i'd want to face the least. the guy can just flat out hit.

Just like we planned it

The game last night was clearly a plan of Billy Beane's.

Step 1. Fool the league into thinking that Zito is washed up for good
Step 2. Give Yankee fans false sense of security during 3-game opening series
Step 3. Make the White Sox jealous with a solo HR by FT
Step 4. Win the next 20 games in a row.

Optional Step 5. Have Bradley tear first base in half and throw it into the crowd to get the A's amped up.

I'll be at the game tonight, and probably tomorrow night too. Come on Harden!
