We should totaly start a fantasy baseball league. We could used the Geocites accountt on yahoo to host a private league. This way, no one player would have control over it.

Fantasy Baseball is a great way to enjoy baseball from different angles than before. You find yourself paying attention to teams and players that were off your radar previously.
I do a free fantasy baseball league through Yahoo every year, and two other DeFremery players are in the league. You, and anyone else interested, should just join this league.
Even though I'm the commish of the league, I don't have any actual control. For instance the trades are only rejected by majority vote of all participants. All I do is get people to join initially, and set it up. And then throughout the season I remind people when the trade deadline is coming up, explain any confusion about the standard rules, etc.
We do a weekly league where you only have to change your lineup once a week (instead of daily). This is a good level of involvement because then you don't have to be on your computer every single night figuring out lineups. Of course, you can make changes to your team every day, they just don't go into effect until the one day a week that lineups can change.
Anyway, we've had some really great leagues, always close!!! Last year my team spent most of the season in the middle of the pack, but, I slowly inched my way up and, in the last 2 weeks, I took over first place! I had never won before, so that was fun. We like to limit the number of teams to 8 or 9; this way there is still always a relatively high quality player sitting in the Free Agent Pool.
At the end of the season I even wrote up some awards like Manager of the Year, Rookie Manager of the Year, and MVP for each position slot.
So, those interested should send me a private message (click on the "pm") at the bottom of this post. Again, it's free, lots of fun, and won't take up all your time.
One final detail I should mention is we do an autodraft. You submit your list of draft picks, then the computer takes everyone's list and comes up with teams. Or, if you don't want to come up with your own list, you can use the default list Yahoo provides, which is based on Expert's views about who in MLB should be where in a draft order. I usually take the default list and make a handful of changes to it.
So Join In................... It takes your baseball season to a new level!
