Hey, I sounded confused at the game today, so I just want to make sure anyone who reads this realizes that next Sunday is a LIVE game (at Curt Flood).

Forecast is for super-hot, no clouds weather, so everybody bring lots of drinks. I usually bring one or two extras for those who forget, but we're going to need a lot more than that.
I'm bringing a dozen new balls for this game, so that's covered.

It was hot. Really f-ing hot. Only 14 people showed. Dave mowed down people (and I mean with ease). We didn't play a full 9 innings (only 8 I think?) since someone had to take off, so we ended up being short on people. Did I mention it was really really hot? I mean, I know they said it was only 92, but it sure as hell felt hotter. Maybe it was because of the lack of a breeze. But yeah, that's pretty much all that happened.

Other side was Ken (5? innings) then one of the newer guys I can't recall the name of (1 inning) then Nick did one inning.
I'm sure it was hotter than 92. It had to be close to 100.

Ken,
Would you see our practice earlier in the week was beneficial to you yesterday? Any soreness or tightness? Just curious.

My legs and lower back felt tight all day, and my shoulder was a little sore, but (as irrational as this may sound) I don't think any of that had to do with practice on Tuesday. 5 days should be plenty of rest (right?) and I have other explainations for those injuries, so I don't think throwing on Tuesday is problematic.
Whether or not it was helpful... That may be a bit harder to say for sure.

Eric struck out two batters in one inning, if I recall correctly.
Away team:
Matt C.
Michael P.
Pablo R.
David J. - 7 IP, 6 scoreless
Richard J.
Peter R.
Daniel T.
Home team:
Scott L.
Dan M.
Ken D. - 5 IP
Paul C.
Nick W. - 1 IP
Eric M. - 1 IP
Ryan Devine (new player)
I intended to write something to remind everybody of my superior prowess.
