My first game

Post by Joe shmoe »

i dont think my first game is recorded in the career stats but is listed in the boxscore. it was may 15, 05. i went 1 for 5 with a triple. and since i am not mentioned in the season one stats, and my triple isnt mentioned. i assume that these stats arent awarded to me. also my 4 triples i have 1 was on 12/04 at def. and the other 3 were all in season three. any ways just wondering what happened

hey, i know i'd have to hit it an aweful long way in order to give me time to run all the way to second, but if people keep playin' me so far in in the outfield, and i every get my swing together, it's not impossible. i have been able to pull the ball decently down the line before. i'd have to hit it pretty well, and it would have to roll, but it could happen.

also, on the bright side (for me), i'm getting work done on my legs. i haven't completely given up hope of being able to run again. i'm sure i'll never be able run nearly like i did pre-kitchen, but at this point, i'd be happy to be able to run at all. don't know how long that's gonna take though. if i can make it through a day of baseball without pulling something in my leg, i'd consider that real progress.

on the not so bright note, no baseball for me tomorrow. gotta bloody work again, and i'm still in no position to refuse hours. damn.

Hey if it's not clear to anyone, the stats are being somewhat re-vamped right now. Go to the main www.parkbaseball.org page (yes, it's available at .org now as well as the old cjb.net)... Use the panel in the lower lefthand part of the screen - DO NOT AT THIS POINT USE THE "Career Stats" link at the top of the page in the Navigation Bar--that's not updated. Basically everything is updated and available in the lower lefthand panel of the main page, except career stats, which you'll see (as listed there) are only updated through early March. Stay tuned for career stats being available.
