Well, this would probably have to go to David J. It was his first game with us, but he played a good game. He played some solid 3B, and had a game-high 5 RBI. It will be interesting to see him play at a park with a more realistic outfield fence.

Goat of the game................ I'll go ahead and take that. It was my plethora of errors in the field that extended many an inning for Pat's team. Then, of course, I only got on base twice in the game---not too satisfactory for someone batting 2nd. I think if I even made just a few less key errors, the score would've been much closer.

Great game overall, though. It was played very efficiently... we were done by 2:30. Solid overall.

do you guys realize our team batted below the .333 mark?

terrible.

I know I hit 2 grounders late in the game that I was sure would've been hits that turned into a ROE and a FC becuase the grass slowed them down so much.

is it possible for us to get out there and mow that infield again?

oh, and yeah... dave had a hell of a game

Hit the ball to 3B, and David made sure you were out. That plus his solid hitting makes me agree with Scott on this one.
