I think my slugging has taken a dive due to outfielders playing me too deep... Three times last week I hit what I thought was a gapper and rounded first to see the outfielder jogging over to cut it off... I guess I need to work on mastering the texas-leaguer so I can start getting a little more disrespect!

How am I one of the few people to not gave a 3-double game, and yet be second in career doubles.

Well, i can see how many games I have missed! I'm falling way behind in many of those stat tracks!

Well, we only have two more games that count toward Season 2 stats (12/4 at DeFremery and 12/18 at Curt Flood).

It's time to start thinking about who you will vote for for MVP and for Gold Gloves for Season Two!

Will Will (haha) take MVP with his monster offensive numbers? Or will his recent absence hurt his candidacy?

Will Ken repeat as MVP?

Will Paul win his first MVP award? What about a gold glove, I mean he did get his first career webgem the other day! Hahahah if you had asked me 6 months ago what Paul's first webgem would involve, I would have definitely emphasized that a bare hand would be involved.

Or will everyone wise up and just hand me the MVP and all the gold glove awards?

I think I am out of the MVP race for sure, and have played so many different positions, GG seems a long shot. Maybe I'll pull in a strong ending.

Paul is in the leas in my mind for sure! Ken... numbers are way down from last year. And I have 2 more ABs than Will, and I feel majorly AWOL, so, not sure about him!

Jeesh my numbers have been way down this season... i think it may be because I've been fiddling with my batting stance for months, and I think I've actually improved my hitting... unfortunately, hitting the ball softly was often times an advantage for me. I also think I've batted with runners on first base a lot more this season than I did last season, which really takes a bite out of my average.

Don't worry though... I'll go 9/9 in the last game with 3HR 3 3B and 3 2B... and 9 runs... and 45 RBIs, and 11 WGs... then you'll see.

Of course, it has to be noted that cumulative numbers from Season 1 and 2 really can't be compared. Season one was 8 months long, had fewer live games (ie games for which the stats didn't count), more double-headers. So there's many factors that would make you have much higher cumulative numbers in season 1. So it's all about averages.

I expect to go 4 for 3 with 6 home runs in the final game, so MVP will be mine.

Scott only needs 1 more to reach 300 career AB.
Three other people have 250 or more.
Four people had 100+ AB in Season 2.

HITS
Scott is the only one to achieve 150+ career hits.
Three others have 130+ and two more have 100+.
Paul led Season 2 with 60 hits.

RUNS
Three people have over 100, with Scott leading the category (129) over Ken (115) and Nick (112).
Scott led Season 2 (53) as the only person with 50+ runs.

DOUBLES
There are seven people with 20+ doubles.
Paul leads with 29. He and Chris both had 15 in Season 2, with Chris getting 4 in the final game of the Season.

Four people are in double digits, Pat (13), Scott (12), Will (12), and Nick (10).
