9th inning Scorekeeping

Post by Baseball=Life »

Hey, reminder to folks to keep scorekeeping in the 9th inning. In many of our games, the scorekeeping in the 9th inning is not complete. People get distracted by comeback-attempts, or holding on a slim game margin, or whatever. It's easy to understand why scorekeeping is less on peoples' mind in that 9th inning. So this is just a reminder to everyone to not abandon the scorekeeping in the 9th inning. It's less than ideal to then have to reconstruct how the game ended.

This was dealt with. So: season stats, season leader boards, all past and most recent boxscores...... are all available. Use the main www.parkbaseball.org page---use the links in the box on the LOWER LEFT corner of the page.

Right now, Nick is working on creating a means by which we can go in and edit past boxscores. (For instance, I forgot to indicate a HR was inside-the-park a few games ago.) Then I think he's planning on creating the device by which I can enter live game stats so we can track those. Then, after these things are done, I believe the plan is to start getting the splits available (such as how you hit in various situations, conditions, etc.)

Overall Career stats and Record Book are both only updated to March... I need to ask Nick what's going on with those.

EDIT: 744th post! HANK AARON STATUS!
