Yeah thanks for the reassurance. I just hate people... this link, while obviously states all the deadball situations, does not say anything about what happens on a base on balls. Obviously, since it is NOT LISTED, it means I am right and they are wrong.... but they will say that the site does not in...

Need help proving a rule...
Ok, so at work, I have debate going... Here is the situation. Man on 2nd... the batter walks. Is the runner on second allowed to advance to third if he wants? Or is it a dead ball, meaning that the runner must stay on second. I am 99.99% sure that the runner can advance at his own risk in this situa...

To qualify for season leaders in any AVERAGE stat, I think you should have to have 3 times the amount of games played for AT BATS. So if there are 20 games in the season, you would need 60 at bats to qualify. It seems like that is the way it is now, and it is fine. For career leaders for any AVERAGE...

Please pardon my ignorance, Antmo, but what the fuck does your post mean? PS: Boxscore on the verge of being up. 11:24 AM Sunday PPS: I bet the 0440 is some computer h4cker lingo that I'm unaware of, such as 133t or whatever. The time of your post in military time I think. Not sure where he lives t...

Sorry I kind of disappeared since my 2 game stint in the summer. I got really busy with work. plus I also have a pretty serious knee problem, and I do not want to make it worse. Running bases, and running in the outfield (hell, running at all) aggrivates the knee. I would love to come and play every...

It is not really about how far the ball goes to me. It is more about the feel of the bat. I simply like metal more than would. It is weird because in hockey, I am like the only one on my team that likes wood sticks better than aluminum. I just like the way one feels in my hands better than the other...

I have a metal bat that costed me 300 dollars. It would be a shame if I hit one home run, and was not allowed to use it. At Curt Flood, the field is definitely big enough where there is nothing wrong with metal. And to handicap someone for making an achievement such as a home run is one of the stran...

Well I do not really want to waste my time by taking pitches and walking to first base. I understand SOMETIMES there are games where the pitchers can get the ball over the plate, but that seems really rare... I am not really willing to give up a sunday to walk around the bases. Not that any of you r...
