Hey!!!!

You might be reading this post because you logged in and noticed that there were no recent posts. There's no real specific reason for this. As the community has grown over the last 7 years, it has changed as well, with people moving out of state, etc. For instance, some of the folks who did the most...

Yo people. I'm back, and ready to push all buttons to make turnout stabilize. How convenient for me that my return corresponds with the end of football season. Anyway, I will also agree that football season has hurt turnout for us, and that live games being more frequent may be the antidote. But I'm...

I bring my own food to practically every A's game I attend. But then again, I'm vegan. Yet, the Coliseum people STILL drool jealousy over my vegan "food"! Yes, the Coli-food is that shitty!

Man I'm so pissed off. I just went through a million old emails but I can't find it. A guy from LA area contacted me because of a Craigslist post I put up. He wanted me to try to break down for him how to make a league happen. I wish I could find it and forward it. Fuck. I remember when Paul tried t...

That was a great final to attend, no doubt. Unfortunately, for me, if I had been rooting for Japan (eventual winner) it wouldn't have felt right for me. Check it out: Rockies in 07, Rays in 08... if I'm there, my team has to choke it turns out. We'll see at the end of the month whether the trend con...

If it's not obvious, I'm not inclined to make the drive all the way down there if there isn't a 2nd umpire. I thought about doing it solo from behind the mound, but that doesn't work for me. I know myself, and if I'm standing back there there's no way I'll be able to resist moving around (more than ...

Hey, I can still umpire, but only behind the plate. So we'd definitely need a 2nd field ump. I can't run due to the ankle rehab, so I can't leave the home plate area. With Nick being out of town and McLovin not available, what to do?

By the way, there's a slight possibility I'll be able to umpire that game. It will come down to whether or not we can get a 2nd umpire (field ump). I can do the plate, but can't really run around, hence needing a 2nd ump.

I think by "tonight" Peter meant "I'll forget about it and Scott will do it weeks later upon my having forgotten about it being pointed out."

So, yeah, I updated the site.

Not more than 25% means up to but not exceeding 25%, so if may be once in 5 weeks, or once in 4 weeks, but not once in 3 weeks, or twice in 6 weeks, etc.. So, basically what Peter said... again "not more than 25%", as per your quote of the rules.

(Three point zero eight) If it is discovered during the game that a statistic has been scored incorrectly, the wronged player must ask The Commissioner or his designee to handle their concern before that player’s next at-bat. The Commissioner or his designee will verify if the intent of the scorekee...

I definitely think you need to get a sac, Ken. haha

But really, good call on a SAC column (combine SF and SBs in one column?).
