I agree with Richard. Defremery's not as good as a field as the one in Richmond or Flood, and the park at Defremery is not as good for a bbq. I don't mind playing at Defremery once in a while, though. But don't they have grills at Nichols Park? Or we could bring one. It would probably work at CF too...

Except for the Yankees, Red Sox, and mets, our hitting group is better. Even though Mike Lowell isn't very good any more, with manny and david the red sox are better hitters. But I don't think the white sox are any better. Ok, the cards are also better than the a's hitting. phil nevin and kevin menc...

Schmoe, Another guy at my house plannned the bands, so I only know 4 of the five. there's my band, and we play mainly covers and a few originals- rock, punk, oldies. i can't tell you the covers, or I'd have to kill you, but we play some classics. Should go on until about 1. There's a band called Hol...

Party Tomorrow
Tomorrow, Fri.the10th, there's a party at my house with five bands, and probably a keg. Starts around 8. Defremery Leaguers welcome. I live at 5425 Shattuck Ave. in North Oakland, between the cross streets of 54th and 55th. There's a huge palm tree out front. Should be fun. Send me a message if you ...

I don't know its name, but the field by Crown Beach in Alameda, at the intersection of Central and Constitution is a nice, big field. I don't know its availability, but we did play a little Saturday practice there over a year ago and it was available. This seems more convenient and centrally located...

As much as it pains me to ever root for the Giants, I'm tempted to pick up Cain in my keedper league (there aren't a lot of free agent pitchers left, but there are some like Pettite, Zito, Cain, Webb, and Cliff Lee that I might be interested in). I think Morris is lousy, Schmidt is still good and wi...

A few weeks ago I did get a web gem, but I was the pitcher for the offensive team. There was no defensive pitcher. If I was the defensive pitcher, I may have made the play, but I think it would have been less likely. I'm in favor of trying scott's idea for march 5. Also, I don't think that live game...
